Wendelken Piano Studio, est. 1993, proudly announced the opening of Wendelken Studio of Musical Arts this Autumn!
Wendelken Piano Studio was founded by Ms. Mary Wendelken in 1993. "Having studied and taught music in Manhattan and London, I see my challenge in Tampa, Florida as one of a ‘cultural pioneer’. Tampa is a city alive with people from all over the world, people accustomed to being surrounded by culture. They expect culture to be part of their lives and the lives of their children. I'm always told how happy people are to find our school! Wendelken Piano Studio definitely fills a niche in the musical world in Tampa Bay. Our schools bring the possibility of intense, quality classical music training with the prestige of the Royal Conservatory of Music to adults and children Tampa. Now members of our community, of all ages and levels including adults, can have the same opportunity to master classical music in New Tampa as they would have if they were growing up in London, Toronto or Manhattan. " Ms. Wendelken is an internationally trained musician who knows each student and cares about their musical development.
Our yearly student enrollment includes dozens of students in Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade, College Students, Adults and Adult Professional Musicians. We are a local, family business featuring three generations of musicians.
Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar and Voice lessons will now be available at our

If the student is a beginner, we will play games to access readiness to begin. If the student has had previous study, they should bring two pieces of music to play. Then we can discuss our school, our method, performance and competition opportunities if appropriate, scheduling and answer any other questions. You'll have a chance to review some of our students' achievments and maybe even hear some of them play. Students are kind of like family here.
